MISS NZEMA 2017: BOUNCERS NEVER FORCED DKB TO PAY ENTRY.
Miss Nzemah is one of the most hilarious shows on TTU Campus. It is a
beauty pageant show organized annually by one of the most populated and influential
male halls on campus. The contestants are male students who play female
character on that very night. The Comedian Celebrity, Derrick Kobina Bonney popularly
known as DKB visited Takoradi and decided to pass through this hilarious event organized
by the Nzemah Mensah Hall of Takoradi Technical University as part of their week
celebration.
The bouncers at the gate spoke to ICONPLUSGH
CREW saying they didn’t identify him as “DKB” but rather just an ordinary individual
who bumped through the gate with three other Ladies who were identified as TTU
students by the bouncers.
According to the bouncers, he totally disguised himself; he was dressed in
a pair of trousers, with Gold Chain on a Singlet and a Cap. And more over they
know him by name but not by face. The king of comedian in Ghana never disclosed
his status or identity to the bouncers but rather solemnly dipped his hand into
his pocket and paid the preferred amount charged him for the show and that of
the Ladies as well.
The aforementioned incident happened
even before the show started. According to the organizers, the presence of the Ghanaian
comedian at the show would have been an honor to them, but unfortunately they didn’t
known about his arrival and departure.
“We as organizers are not claiming
we didn’t invite DKB, but rather we would have known how to communicate with the
bouncers if we have had a prior notice to his arrival”.
In a nutshell, the organizers of the hilarious MISS NZEMA BEAUTY CONTEST are
by this press release apologizing to the king of Ghanaian Comedy Derrick Kobina
Bonney for any inconvenience and to all other celebrities this happening might
not go well with.
